Litchfield Hills Bible Church

Books, Books.

We've got books

Books from our extensive Library

We think it is important for Christians to read regularly and broadly.

We have a large library available for anyone to borrow; just return them when finished, please.

They are categorized in several broad areas, but if you have any questions about any of the books, or a specific book you are seeking - just ask Pastor Allen.

Pastor's Recommendations:

I  read regularly on many different subjects, genres, and categories. History, Theology, and Bible,  along with many classics, have been part of my diet for many years.

I'd be delighted to suggest books that might interest you, from:  Bible study, Theology, Devotionals, Church history, secular histories, languages (Hebrew, Greek, French, German), Biographies, and more. Just ask.

Pastor's published books

I've written a lot over the years, sometimes good, and sometimes - maybe not so good!

Free Take-Home Table

We have a lot of tracts, daily devotionals, and pamphlets on the 'free table,' just inside the entryway. Feel free to take and keep any items you wish.

However, each month, we have 4-6 books on display at the table, from our library. Take them home and read them, but please return them. Thank you.

Pastor's Personal Library

As a bookworm, over the years, I've gathered an extensive private library. I'm more than happy to  share them with you. Let me know if you have interest in a particular book or genre. If I have it, you are most welcome to borrow it for a while.

Bible Companion Series

Some time ago, I  developed a series of companion booklets to use when studying a book of the Bible. This is the Bible Companion series.

The idea is to have one 'sitting beside you,' providing helpful basic resource and background material, as you study.
