What we believe

We focus on the proclamation of God's Word each Sunday morning. That is priority number one for the morning hour.

Our basic beliefs include:

  • Authority & full inerrancy of the Bible.
  • The Triune God - Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
  • Perfect deity & humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The Virgin Birth, bodily resurrection, bodily ascension, & imminent, bodily return of Jesus, the Christ.
  • Substitutionary Atonement - Christ died for all our sins. He took our place on the Cross at Calvary.
  •  Eternal Security of the Believer.
  • Ordinances: Baptism by immersion; Lord's Supper.
  • Personal salvation by trusting completely in the finished work of the Lord Jesus.
  • The new birth & indwelling of the Holy Spirit in each believer.
  • The Rapture of the Church Age saints before the Great Tribulation.
  • The Church - the Body of Christ - begun at  Pentecost (Acts 2) and completed at the Rapture (1 Thes. 4:13-18).

What Others Say:

"Good day - very good message. Not that I haven't heard it before, but your presentation is excellent. I wish more people could hear the way you present it, as I think they would really see the truth." - Mary Lou 5/11/20

"How blessed are we that God's love for us is perfect & not dependent on our performance. What a wonderful truth to know God's promises to Israel stand forever just like His promises to us." Rich & Nora 3/29/20

"Thanks for the wonderful message." Susan N 4/27/20

What a wonderful reminder of WHO is in control during these stressful times & always. We look forward to ongoing messages to feed on in the weeks of shutdown ahead. What an AWESOME GOD we serve! R&N 3/23/20

"Thanks for getting this message recorded for me. Thanks, too, for the prayers for my hip surgery." Jan 11/4/19

Yes, we're a bit different

(or, maybe just odd?)

  • Our seating is a bit unusual.
  • Our children stay in the service.
  • We don't 'pass the plate.' We do have an offering box in the entry.
  • We have no fundraising programs or 'canvassing.' We depend totally on the gifts of our fellowship.
  • We don't have committees, church business meetings, or formal membership. Our Elders handle  normal church affairs.
  • We never pressure anyone to 'serve.' It is strictly voluntary.
  • We're an 'organism,' a Body of Christ, not an organization or institution.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, not the Church, is central to us. Depending utterly on Him and His completed work on the cross is essential. ('...I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me.' John 14:6)

  • We proclaim God's Word, not ours.
  • We gather to become thoroughly equipped for the work of ministry. (Ephesians 4:12-16)
  • We are saved, not because of us, but solely by dependence on the finished work of Christ on the Cross.
  • He has been raised bodily and ascended to Heaven bodily, and will return bodily, first for His Bride and then to institute His Messianic Kingdom.
  • Because He lives, we can face today, tomorrow, and eternity.
